1959 Pirsch Fire Engine for Sale - Pending Donation to Pend Oreille County Museum
This was our first fire engine. It has a Hale 1000 gal per minute pump and a Hall-Scott 6156 inline 6cyl gas engine - 935 cubic inch, if I remember correctly. The most recent history of this fire engine is that it was a running, working truck that we kept as an extra fire engine with the idea of someday fixing it up for a parade truck. About 15 years ago, during maintenance, one of the rotors broke and was eventually lost while searching for a new one. The fire engine has sat, unused since then. Commissioners voted to surplus this vehicle. The buyer can leave the truck with us for up to 60 days after it is paid for. Please contact , Commissioner, for more information.
