Burn restrictions still in effect-no outdoor burning or use of charcoal briquettes -Recreational Fires in approved fire pits are allowed.

Due to Moderate Fire Danger, Outdoor Burn Ban continues

Under an Order issued by the Washington Commissioner of Public Lands earlier this summer, all burn restrictions are still in effect statewide on DNR protected lands. This includes outdoor burning, the use of charcoal briquettes, and prescribed burns on all lands within the State of Washington under Department of Natural Resources fire protection.

Recreational Fires in approved fire pits are still allowed.

Daily updates on burn restrictions are available at 1-800-323-BURN or on DNR’s website at www.dnr.wa.gov/OutdoorBurning.

The outdoor burning ban order included a Sept. 30 end date, but the moderate fire danger has prompted local fire officials with DNR to continue that ban indefinitely.
