Effective at 00:01 Friday June 7, 2019, the Department of Natural Resources will be closing Permit Burns and Rule Burns in the Upper Basin, Foothills, Kaniksu and Highlands fire danger rating areas, which includes Pend Oreille County. Permit and Rule burning will no longer be allowed.
